Node2Shell (CVE-2026-111497): Node.js Brotli RCE

On October 21, 2026, Node.js fixed CVE-2026-111497, now known as Node2Shell. The bug is in its bundled Brotli decoder, the component that unpacks compressed data. A crafted compressed stream makes the decoder write data outside the memory set aside for it, known as an out-of-bounds write. That can overwrite data the application relies on, so an attacker can crash the application, leak memory or run attacker code. Public proof-of-concept code was published within 24 hours.

You only need AI tokens to become a hacker

AI has removed the skill, personalization, and speed barriers that once limited cyberattacks. Attackers use language models at every stage of the kill chain, from recon to persistence, and underground tools sell pre-jailbroken access to mainstream models for as little as $50 a week. But because every attack still has to change a file, a configuration, or a script on a real system, detecting unplanned change works no matter which model wrote the payload.

From Telecom Chaos to One Hub: How CommsHub Is Rethinking Business Messaging

Business messaging often starts with a very modest setup. A company connects one SMS provider, adds a few transactional templates and assumes the job is more or less done. Then the business enters another market, introduces login codes, adds promotional campaigns and discovers that the original setup has quietly turned into a tangle of APIs, dashboards, contracts and support chats.

How to Vet an MSP's Security Before You Sign

Outsourcing IT means handing someone the keys to your network. Remote management tools, admin accounts and backup systems all sit in the provider's hands. If that provider is breached, the attacker can inherit the same access. So the security review should happen before the contract, not after the first incident.

How AI-Powered Personalized Video Is Transforming Digital Customer Communication

Global enterprise channels process millions of customer support inquiries every day, and the cost of failing to deliver adequately in this context is estimated to be over $3.7 trillion. Traditional text emails and static PDF statements no longer cut through a digital landscape saturated with generic noise. Modern consumers expect communications that recognize their specific history, preferences, and current lifecycle stage.

Securing the Digital Thread in Motor Manufacturing Without Slowing Production

Modern factories depend on digital instructions long before a machine begins cutting metal. Engineers exchange CAD files, production teams load programs into equipment, quality departments record measurements, and suppliers receive updated drawings. This connected workflow improves coordination, but it also creates new paths through which an error or security incident can disrupt production.

Why AI Transformation Must Start With Security

Almost every organization is talking about artificial intelligence right now. Teams want to automate routine work, understand customers better, and make faster decisions. Yet many of them rush into new tools without asking a basic question: is our foundation safe? This is where an AI transformation consulting service often becomes useful, because it helps a business look at its security position before it builds anything new. Starting with security is not about slowing down. It is about making sure the progress you make actually lasts.

Top 7 B2B Subscription Commerce Platforms in 2026

Every renewal is a payment event, a contract event and a data event. That's what makes subscription commerce a security problem as much as a revenue one. IBM's 2025 Cost of a Data Breach Report put the global average breach at $4.44 million and the US average at $10.22 million, and billing systems sit close to the data attackers want. Compliance pressure is up too. PCI DSS v4.0.1 has been fully mandatory since March 31, 2025, including the payment-page script controls that many merchants left until last.

AI threat detection: From reactive alerts to proactive defense

A suspicious login, an unexpected privilege change, and a surge in file downloads may reach your security team as separate alerts. Understanding whether they belong to the same attack requires context. For your IT and security operations teams, connecting these signals takes time. If you're a CIO or CTO, that delay can increase your exposure to operational disruption and data loss. AI threat detection helps you analyze security activity, identify suspicious patterns, and prioritize investigations.
