Because of the key role that Active Directory plays in controlling access to IT systems, keeping AD secure must be a priority. One way to stay on top of what’s happening in AD and Azure AD is to use PowerShell, Microsoft's command-line shell and scripting language.

• Report on inactive user accounts in Active Directory
• Report on privileged group membership and schema changes
