IT organizations have been struggling with how to manage data growth since the advent of computing—from the physical world of filing cabinets and printed green-bar paper to the logical world of zeros and ones—and there is no sign of this growth slowing. Rather, growth is accelerating as the world becomes more connected. Because of this, managing data growth appears perennially among the five most commonly cited challenges across ESG research.
