Where the Real Value Shows Up for Independent Designers

Larger landscape firms already have in-house renderers and 3D modelers. Solo practitioners rarely do. Designers who can meet that expectation without raising their fees dramatically have an edge. Those who continue to rely only on traditional methods often find themselves explaining why everything takes longer.

I still hand-draw final planting plans and still walk every site multiple times. The difference is that the exploratory phase no longer consumes the majority of the schedule.
