Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, Carlsberg Group is the third largest brewer of beer in the world. Founded in 1847, the brewer’s operations span Europe, Asia, and North America. 40,000 workers brew 700 different types of beer with 140 different brand labels. Before Cato, Carlsberg’s global network consisted of several MPLS and Direct Internet services, using different solutions and different service providers in each region. SD-WAN interconnectivity among the various production and warehouse sites was a challenge resulting in poor visibility of the network and lack of flexibility to respond to business needs.

Carlsberg adopted Cato in 2023, did a pilot and prepared for a phased rollout in 2024. Today, Carlsberg’s Cato deployment spans over 220+ sites and 15,000 users.
